Private sessions are ideal if you have a specific issue or acute pain. You and I get the opportunity to sit down and talk about what is going on in person. Each session is tailored to your specific needs that day. Feldenkrais sessions and Craniosacral sessions are both available, and I often incorporate both modalities in a session.

Functional Integration Sessions
Through a combination of gentle, non-invasive, informative touch and verbal questions and instructions, we’ll explore how you move. I will help you bring awareness and new movement to blind spots that are causing you discomfort. By unpacking the details of what's causing your discomfort, you are given useful information and tools to let you take control of how you move so you can be more comfortable. Functional Integration sessions happen on a chair-height comfortable table while clothed, usually sitting or lying down. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing. Please allow an 75 minutes for your first session, and 60 minutes for subsequent sessions.

What you might experience during a session varies person to person, but it's always very relaxing. Some can feel dramatic changes in how they hold themselves as they happen. Some fall asleep. Some feel like barely anything is happening until they sit or stand up and find they have a completely different way of moving available. I send everyone home with "homework" to help their changes stick.

One session is a great way to get a taste of the Feldenkrais Method, while weekly sessions build on each other and deepen learning. I recommend 3 weekly sessions to start. Following those, many clients choose to continue to come in weekly, every other week, monthly, or simply as needed. You can schedule online here.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) Sessions
Using gentle, non-invasive touch (no more than the weight of a nickel), I give your body a chance to heal itself by bringing your nervous system's attention to places of tension and holding. Through attention and time, deep fascia releases allow your body to self-regulate and come back to neutral. You can learn more about CST here.

CST sessions happen on a chair-height padded comfortable table while clothed and lying on your back. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing. Please allow 75 minutes for your first session, and 60 minutes for subsequent sessions.

Like Feldenkrais, what you might experience during a session varies person to person, but it's always very relaxing. Some notice small movements and twitching, which are common signs of release. Some fall asleep or feel deep relaxation. Some barely feel anything until they stand up and feel more balanced or more energetic. Your nervous system keeps working after the session ends, and changes can keep happening for up to a couple of weeks.

I accept cash, checks, and cards, including HSA cards. I cannot accept insurance, but getting reimbursed by your insurance company is sometimes a possibility.

Cancellation Policy
Please allow 24 hours notice for rescheduling or cancelling appointments. Missed appointments and late cancellations will be charged in full, with exceptions for illness and emergency.
